Brenda’s primary practice areas are in civil litigation, business law and
environmental law.
Prior to joining the firm, Brenda worked in civil enforcement as an Assistant
General Counsel and Attorney-Advisor for the Environmental Protection
Agency, Region 4 in Atlanta, GA. She also worked as an Assistant General
Counsel in Financial Regulation for the State of Vermont. In addition, she has
previous private law practice experience including in the areas of real estate,
business law and civil litigation.
Brenda was born and raised in Vermont. She graduated with a B.S. in
Business Administration, summa cum laude, from the University of Vermont.
She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Vermont Law School. In addition
to her legal career, Brenda has also had an extensive business consulting and
technology career working for national and global corporations.
Brenda enjoys many outdoor and recreational activities, in her spare time,
including spending time with her two dogs. She was also a competitive figure
skater for many years, including earning a silver medal at nationals in
synchronized team skating. She enjoys volunteering in her community,
including in and around the Chittenden County area.
