After having interviewed multiple Estate Planning attorneys in Idaho, we elected to go with Mr. Callahan for our estate planning needs (Living Will, Trust, Durable Power of Attorney, and Healthcare Directive). We are extremely pleased we did. Mr. Callahan's knowledge of the law was second to none. His clear and precise explanations helped guide our estate planning decisions. He even added additional protections to our trust we were not even aware existed. He also recommended trust management companies that could manage the trust with the terms and protections he wrote in it. Clear explanations, apparently good experiential background.

Beware of this law office. My 84 year old mother went in there with a ride she got from my brother's ex-wife. Somehow my mother was mailed papers for her power of attorney and other important documents that had the ex-wife listed as the person with authority. My mother called me so upset and did not want this person on her documents. She is having trouble remembering things and can be manipulated. This person has been showing up to give her rides and took her to the attorney but should never have been put in the legal documents. I don't know why the attorney would put these names in there. Thank God my mother did not sign anything. They did offer to see her again and change things but I don't trust them anymore. I will be taking my mother to another law office as soon as possible to get things cleared up. Watch out for people who will take advantage of the elderly. This attorney should have asked questions about her children and grandchildren.

Ridiculously rude, condescending, and dismissive regarding a call placed seeking guidance on how to proceed fwd on behalf of the tragic, emotionally painful death of my estranged mother in the state of Idaho. As well as how that relates to a separate out of state estate/trust case that my family will need to retain in addition to family estate attn. There is NOTHING contested- complex in the way of residencies, and other things I never got the chance to even say because she cut me off to tell me that, and then proceeded to basically mock me... It was so... bizarre and oddly hurtful. Really disheartening to come upon someone like that at a time like this.

Callahan put my 84 year old mother who has altimeters in danger. He knowingly changed POA and they took all her savings. Then they sold her house for over half a million and kept mother hidden. He would not talk to the family and told another attorney that no changes would be made to the trust because of her cognitive problems then did it anyway. That POA made it possible for them to take everything and we could not help. Do not trust him with your loved one's assets. He has put mother is danger and should not be able to practice.
