Jay, a native of Brevard County, graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelors degree in Finance and minors in Entrepreneurship and Criminology. He continued his studies at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate in 2010.
Jay is very active in both the local and state Bar Associations. Jay served on the Board of Governors for the Young Lawyers’ Division of The Florida Bar representing the 18th Judicial Circuit comprised of Brevard and Seminole County, an organization with approximately 30,000 members. Jay also served as the past President of the Young Lawyers Division of the Brevard County Bar Association and the past President of the Brevard County Bar Association. Jay currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Brevard County Legal Aid.
Jay has been recognized nationally by Super Lawyers since 2015 and has been the recipient of the Associate of the Year Award twice from Vassar B. Carlton American Inns of Court.
In his free time, Jay enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two boys.
