Hired Attorney

Ted has been my lawyer since 1996. He has represented me more than once & I'll just say you get what you pay for. He's soft spoken (the judges love that) he's in it to win it. I've referred others to him & if he doesn't believe he's got a good fighting chance of winning your case he'll tell you, he is not the kind of man who will take your money & not work his butt off for you. His secretary is the same secretary he's had since the day I first enlisted him to help me, Barbie is nearly as knowledgeable as Ted & I say that due to all of my questions that she's been able to answer correctly without conferring with Ted. It asks what legal issue I hired him for, the one that meant the most to me was the unlimited guardianship of my grand daughter. Grand parents have no legal rights in Iowa, with Ted's expertise I was able to safe guard my grand daughter in MY home from the time she was 9 weeks old until she turned 18.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.
