I am writing on behalf of my parents who are not tech savvy. This attorney/judge (in Paterson) swindled them for $2,500. My parents accrued a substantial debt that unfortunately left them in a predicament to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy. They sought out this attorney a year and a half ago (summer of 2021) who was unprofessional from the start (my mother's words). My father trusted him and decided to go through with filing. From what I have read, a Chapter 7 takes approximately 3 to 6 months (give or take). It's been a year and a half. My parents account has now been levied from creditors. They are now receiving their social security checks, but cannot deposit checks due to the account being levied. The amount of stress that this has caused my parents is insurmountable. My father has tried to contact this attorney multiple times. He stated he was on vacation and would call back in a couple of weeks, then someone was sick, etc., basically dodging. This attorney frauded my parents.
He met with me ,charged me 100.00 to files papers. I gave him 6 months of banking records, social security numbers, etc .After that he never responded to my polite emails of concern, he never responded to any texts.My wife politely reached out to him in the same manner and no response to her. I looked up a current obituary to see if something happened to him .It seems he is alive and well.
