I was promised what was legally due to me. On the day of the trail in which Brittany Baron Did not prepare me for, she told me that the Magistrate would not approve what was legally mine after 30 years being married to a Narcissist Lying Cheating Phyco. Brittany’s firm would not give me any information on who was handling the QDRO’s in my case that my EX picked them out after Brittany said she was doing them. They charged me 650.00 up front. Brittany is not Ethical or professional. I ask what I needed to do about my Ex and my name that where on joint bank accounts I was told (I DON’T KNOW WHAT TO TELL YOU!)This is an atterny that a paid 23,000.00. I asked should I be at the pre retail? Brittany responded No. When I received my bill my Ex was there by phone. Brittany never discussed With me what transpired nor did she return any calls. All along I was promised what was legally due to me. Never received it. Bottom line save yourself a lot of money don’t choose this unethical firm!
I retained Brittany Baron for my divorce and was billed nearly $15,000 in just over two months despite having no real property, high-value assets, or trial. By comparison, my husband’s attorney charged $3,500 for five months of work on the same case with a similar hourly rate. At my very first consultation with Brittany Baron, she name-dropped Joseph Stafford, claiming that he only cares about money and doesn’t care about you or the children. She bragged about beating him in a grandparent custody case and positioned herself as the more ethical, affordable alternative. Beyond the excessive billing, I experienced unprofessional conduct. When I expressed legitimate concerns about the visitation schedule, specifically that it was completely out of sync with the children's pre-existing school hours and therapy times, Brittany Baron responded with blatant disrespect, saying, 'You think everyone is against you.' This was not only dismissive, it was deeply unprofessional and rude.
