Let me make one thing clear: I have not hired Ms. Ibanez. She has never represented me in court, but she has made a point to represent herself online where it was easily accessible to everybody. She made a Tiktok post on 01/28/2026 wherein she stitched (visibly replied to) a video discussing the unfairness of the Corey Holcolm case, and proceeded to make the claim that (summarized) if a man abuses you in any way, big or small, that man not only hates you but is gay. Ms. Ibanez has not established that this video was meant to be in a joking manner, and has instead doubled down within it's comments to state that she meant every word, blanket-statemented that all gay men are misogynistic, and that when pointed out her statement was a common homophobic rhetoric, she replied with "ill keep that in mind when eating box tonight (kissy emoji)." This behavior is highly unprofessional and extremely dangerous for a PUBLIC DEFENDER to have, and I do hope the reason as to why is clear.
