Bill Higgins himself, for instance, helped get the bonds approved for the new courthouse. Bill's uncle, J.M. Davis, established the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum. Bill now, in fact, sits on the board of that museum, carrying on his uncle's legacy.
