Mr. Brissie was instrumental in working through a complex matter involving my brother who is a disabled Vietnam veteran. Mr. Brissie was more responsive to my emails and texts than any other lawyer I have ever worked with. Furthermore he treated my brother and I with utmost respect. Mr Brissie presents as very calm and exceedingly reassuring. I felt as if my brother and I were being taken care of by a friend or a family member. Also it should be noted that Mr Brissie s charges for his services were more than fair.
This lawyer completely wasted my time. He took my case and said he mailed documents to company I was suing, claiming they had a 21-day deadline. Thirty days later, when I followed up, he admitted he never mailed anything. Because of this, my case was delayed by another month. When he finally sent me a reply from the other party, I responded immediately, and I didn't get a response from him for weeks. When I asked confused if he was taking the case seriously, he suddenly said he was withdrawing, citing vague “client-lawyer compatibility” issues. He did not provide clarity about the situation for withdrawing and it didn’t clearly relate this case. Each time I tried to communicate, paperwork was forgotten or responses were delayed. On top of that, during my first scheduled in-person meeting, He was not present when our meeting was scheduled to start, and I waited 45 minutes. These issues wasted my time also made it harder to find another lawyer to take over my case.
