Hired Attorney Sarah Oberer

I had the absolute pleasure of having Attorney Sarah Oberer represent me during my painful divorce process. Sarah listened to me. Understood me. Did not pressure me or compelled me to make decisions but guided me patiently to achieve equitable settlement. She is a highly skilled and well respected lawyer. Hired Attorney Sarah Oberer

My goal for working with her was to solve problem, instead of create new ones. Sarah left me with an ongoing sense and feeling of “not having someone in your corner” to fight for you like themselves. Some of the challenges working with Sarah: -Lack of a thought/care about personal safety: Because my case included domestic violence protections, it was common sense to do whatever she could to keep me safe but instead made errors that could compromise my safety. -Lack of experience. She constantly needed outside input to answer my questions about standard divorce protocol. -Unclear communication. For example, receiving constant conflicting calendar invites for cancelled/rescheduled events -Unhelpful advice that would have unnecessarily cost thousands of extra dollars. Instead of feeling like she was an advocate, it felt like I constantly needed to advocate for myself to feel seen, heard, understood and cared for, while adding additional stress due to errors and lack of experience.
