Mr. Gibbs began his career in Chicago representing tenants in their negotiations with commercial landlords before beginning a successful tenure at a Chicago Loop law firm as a tax consultant and attorney. Mr. Gibbs has handled more than 7,000 commercial property tax appeals throughout the country generating millions of dollars in refunds and savings for his clients. He has lectured at the Ohio State Bar Association on the topic of property tax reduction, spoke to the Ohio Tax Conference in 2013 on property tax appeals and procedure, and co-authored a chapter on business personal property taxation for the Institute of Professionals in Taxation. Mr. Gibbs is admitted to practice law in Ohio and Illinois, and is a licensed tax consultant in Texas, Arizona, and Tennessee. He has tried property tax cases or attended hearings in 40 states. Through numerous affiliations and contacts, Mr. Gibbs regularly gains admission to represent his property tax clients in jurisdictions throughout the United States.
