My wife and I hired Mr. Gay in February 2023 to help resolve a civil complaint against us. After 18 months and several thousand dollars in attorney fees, Mr. Gay was no closer to resolving our complaint than he was at the beginning. My wife and I were told by Mr. Gay that it would be another year before this would get to trial. After hearing this, we decided to cut our losses and dismiss Mr. Gay from representing us on this civil issue. It actually took another three months for Mr. Gay to prepare the paperwork to be dismissed from the courts. In this interim period, we could not officially hire another attorney because of Mr. Gay dragging his feet to withdraw from the case. We did hire a second attorney who not only helped resolve our case with a favorable outcome, but also completed the work in six months. Either Mr. Gay was incompetent or he was brilliant in padding the billable hours to help his pocket book. Whichever one was true does not cast a very good picture. Buyer beware!
