Hired Law Firm

This guy tried to get me to give him my med mal case. When I asked about his med mal experience. Well, he did not have any and neither did anyone in his firm. That did not stop him from pressuring me to trust him with my legal issue. He is smart, a Rhodes scholar and he doesn't miss a chance to let you know it. But what does that have to do with my med mal case? Kind of seems like a gifted kid who never really grew up and got serious about anything. Maybe he is competent in his areas, but the way he approached my case seemed totally inappropriate, greedy, careless and overconfident.

Hired Law Firm

The work was dirt cheap, but not particularly thoughtful. It was my first "venture" and Zach didn't actually go over much of anything. He just asked for a retainer, threw a document together and demanded his check. I ended up going to another attorney next at my partners suggestion. The firm charged more, but was much more of an advisor and partner and put much more thought in. Apparently Zach never practiced corporate law before. Maybe a better for hedge funds.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*

• AV Preeminent®: The highest peer rating standard. This rating signifies that a large number of the lawyer’s peers rank him or her at the highest level of professional excellence for their legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards.

• Distinguished: An excellent rating for a lawyer with some experience. This rating indicates the attorney is widely respected by their peers for high professional achievement and ethical standards.
