Lies, deception, and misleading. I paid him it’s been over a year, when he promised to settle my work related case. I was previously mishandled by another attorney, I shared my factual information with Benno. He apologized and stated he’d resolve my case. He is inconsistent, unprofessional within his attire, and lacks character and integrity. There seems to be some other underlying issues. I’ve NEVER been so disappointed in my life, I was gaining more ground filing my own motions. He is full of stories and lies. The worst decision I made. Brings old court documents, tries to smooth you over, meets you at Dunkin Donuts in Lansing, and there’s more. Please just keep it moving, he is a fake, liar, and lacks integrity, looks as if he just got out of bed and kept it moving. Save yourself some time and a headache,

After reading other reviews, I realized I had a very similar experience. This attorney was repeatedly unprepared in court. On one occasion, he even appeared to fall asleep during a court session. He frequently asked me to come in for meetings without clear reasons, and each time it felt like he didn’t remember my case. He kept asking about my financial and family situation, even though I had already provided all documents at the begging. He often talked about how famous he is and mentioned old, high-profile cases. When I looked them up, the articles focused on the cases themselves, not in whether he actually won. Despite this, my case made little progress and dragged on for over 3 years. Whenever problems came up, the blame was always placed on the judge or opposing counsels.

Just a heads up for anyone considering this attorney. One day he offered me a discount if I posted a positive review. I declined. In this year, he showed up to court unprepared and kept asking me for the same documents over and over, with zero real progress, he also kept dropping hints about connections to judges, which didn’t inspire confidence.

Terrible,talks a big game. Told all sorts of stories including marrying into the mob, high profile cases. He shows up late, appearance looks like he is homeless, stains all over his clothes. Fowl language in the court room and managed to offend the plaintiff with an inappropriate response,also other comments that definitely made things not go out way. Plaintiff stretched the truth, Thomas never called me up on the stand to tell my side of the story. He was completely unprepared for every court date. The judge came down on me hard. For your amotional well being stay away for this sharp talker.

Don’t be fooled by this lawyer. He attracts clients with low fees, but once paid, he does little to move your case forward-he even fell asleep in court. Don’t think his long career means skills; it’s just that too many people stayed silent. If you’ve had a similar experience, please speak up so there’s won’t be misled.

This is a liar! He cheated my friend’s case. Finally, he didnot do anything in the case and cheated he had special relationship with many judges! When you asked him for your case, he has many excuses.This ruined my friend’s family.

This is a deep lesson for my families. My brother hired him. Before my brother pay him, he shared with you so many positive things and how confident to win the case. After my brother paid, he behaved he can’t do anything for the case. It took a long time for my families to overcome this. He is good at explaining like everything is your faults. Please don't hurt yourself by hiring this monster. I am serious . I would never submit a review out of anger . I am a man who kept on him and asking him about filing my document and he didn't Then I call to ask why I can't see anything he filed . He yells at me tells me the other lawyer S**T all over me and phases himself . He really believes he is working but he doesn't work. Then he contradicts himself and tells me ok I will refile it .He is making thousands of dollars off of hard working people and S**TTING on them . He ignors you to upset you andthen when you tell him why he has upset you he will use it against you and create a victim of himself. All he does is argue and fight provoke and then he is the victim and you are wrong , and he drops you after wasting your time the courts time your money and oh by the way he will tell you how his criminal clients who he represented do "favors " for him .

BEWARE!! My sister hired this guy and he did not do anything useful but file appearance in court and never remember anything about her or her case that she had to remind him each and every time. He was very nice DAY 1 but after that he would gas light her when she questioned his work because he was very unorganized and was very unclear what the plan was. There were multiple times when she wanted to fire him but unfortunately was locked in on a non refundable contract that he kept throwing in her face that he gave her a discount. I would also hear him BELITTLE HER!! Don’t recommend him AT ALL. All talk no action.
