About Stephen P. Eisenberg

STEPHEN P. EISENBERG, Senior Partner, is a graduate of Washington University (B.A.) and DePaul University College of Law (J.D.). Steve specializes in first party insurance claims, transportation and warehouse claims and large loss subrogation litigation. He served as chairman of the Illinois Advisory Committee on Arson Prevention, as a member of the Illinois Arson Advisory Board, as a member of the Illinois Arson Award Committee, as a member of the Illinois Fire Advisory Commission and as a member of the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Commission on the Fire Service.

Steve is co-author of the published monograph Civil RICO: The Insurers Fight Back. He is a frequent speaker on the subjects of coverage, policy forms, and transportation law. He has often served as a panelist at the Property Loss Research Bureau's annual Claim Conference, has served as a member of the Conference Committee and the Affiliate Members Advisory Board. Steve participated in the research, drafting and implementation of Illinois’ “Arson Information Immunity Bill” and has testified before the Illinois Legislature in support of anti-arson and other insurance related legislation.

Steve is a member of the Illinois Bar, the Wisconsin Bar, the Federal Trial Bar, the Appellate Bar for the Seventh United States Circuit Court of Appeals and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States.
