She received a B.A. from Rutgers University and an M.A. in Communications from Stanford University. Mrs. Scharf has been active in a number of community organizations in the Chicago area, and is currently a Board Member of The Youth Campus. Prior to joining Schoeman, Updike and Kaufman, LLP, Ms. Scharf was a partner at Jenner & Block LLP from 1995 to 2007.
