Michael G. DiDomenico is the Managing Partner with Lake Toback DiDomenico, having joined the firm in 2000. Mr. DiDomenico represents clients in all areas of family law at the trial and appellate level. He has argued and presented cases, including as amicus curiae, to the Illinois Supreme, Appellate and Circuit Courts. Since 2005, he has handled hundreds of domestic relations appeals, dealing with every aspect of Illinois family law including: the characterization, valuation and distribution of complex and high-net worth estates, business valuations, the allocation of parental rights and responsibilities and parenting time, relocation of minor children, child support, maintenance, international and domestic jurisdictional issues, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, attorney fees, dissipation of marital assets, orders of protection, declarations of invalidity (annulments), contempt and other procedural issues such as discovery and substitutions of judge.
Mr. DiDomenico has authored numerous chapters and articles for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education (IICLE) and other legal publications and is a frequent lecturer at Illinois family law conferences for lawyers and judges. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, the long-time Chair of the Amicus Committee of the Illinois Chapter of American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and a past member of the Illinois State Bar Association’s Family Law Section Council. Mr. DiDomenico is a graduate of DePaul University (B.A., History, 1999) and The John Marshall Law School (J.D., cum laude, LL.M., 2003). He was admitted to the Illinois Bar in 2003 and is a member of the Appellate Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Chicago Bar Association, and the Justinian Society of Lawyers.
