Marc is an associate in the firm’s insurance defense practice group, where he represents insurers and businesses in complex, high-exposure litigation matters. He works with clients across a range of industries to defend claims efficiently and develop strategic solutions in both state and federal courts.

Prior to joining Meagher + Geer, Marc represented clients in a wide variety of litigation matters, including civil rights, construction, insurance coverage, landlord-tenant, medical malpractice, municipal liability, and transportation-related claims involving serious bodily injury. This breadth of experience allows him to approach cases with a practical, well-rounded perspective.
Marc’s litigation practice includes handling complex state court matters, drafting and arguing dispositive motions, and managing appeals. He successfully defended a client before the Second District Court of Appeals, securing a reversal of the trial court’s decision and enforcement of a settlement.
Marc earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (formerly John Marshall Law School). He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is admitted to practice in Illinois and in the Northern and Central District Courts of Illinois.
Outside of the office, Marc enjoys golf, tennis, attending church, and watching live sporting events, as well as spending time with his family.
