Lisa Copland Gordon is a seasoned litigator who has practiced law in Illinois for over 25 years.

She is a graduate of Northwestern Pritzker School of Law, with a concentration in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. Lisa earned her undergraduate degree from Princeton University.

She represents clients and small businesses in all Cook County courthouse locations.

Lisa represents families and individuals in matters involving decedent’s estates, guardianship, estate administration and litigation.

She represents men and women in divorce cases, including the division of property, allocation of parental responsibilities, maintenance (formerly known as alimony), child support and the allocation of parenting time. She also handles matters in Parentage Court and the Domestic Violence Division.

Lisa provides counsel to clients in real estate matters including purchasing, selling, HOA and lease issues.

She also represents individuals and small businesses in breach of contract cases, and the creation and dissolution of partnership agreements.

Lisa is a volunteer attorney with the Chicago Volunteer Legal Services Foreclosure Mediation Program and has provided pro bono consultations for the Cook County Bar Association Free Legal Clinic.

After being referred to Lisa by a friend I utilized her services. I loved how she explained everything to me in "lymans" terms. She very detailed oriented and showed me what exactly what was being done. I hated I was getting a divorce, however, Lisa was very supportive throughout the while process.
