I was recommended Leo to represent me on the sale of my condo in Chicago. He and his paralegal Teresa screwed up not just once, but four times! Each time to my detriment, they messed up the calculation of my taxes on my condo and deeded parking spot twice to the benefit of my buyer, they misquoted my monthly assessment after even I had caught it before lawyer review and they still didn’t correct it again to the benefit of my buyer, lastly they misquoted the credit I said I would give my buyer for miscellaneous wear and tear in my unit, OVERSTATING IT, again to the benefit of my buyer. In the end hiring Leo did nothing but benefit the buyer of my condo at my expense.
Mr. Aubel is extremely inattentive and does not complete what he says he will do.
Leo was completely unreliable and was not responsive at all. He completely works on his own schedule and does not care for client deadlines. His work has been filled with errors and he's not very detailed at all. The main thing is his lack of updating his clients and keeping them in the loop. He was very difficult to work with and I would never recommend him nor use him again.
