Lauren E. Park joined Levin & Perconti in October 2018 before being admitted to the Illinois State Bar in November 2018. As an associate attorney, Lauren focuses her practice on personal injury and wrongful death cases, including nursing home abuse and neglect and medical malpractice cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Lauren worked for a personal injury and wrongful death law firm in Chicago, where she was responsible for drafting responses to substantive motions, including summary judgment motions and working closely with attorneys on legal research projects. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Frank Valderrama of the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago. Additionally, Lauren volunteered at the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic in Chicago, where she assisted clients with attaining orders of protection against their abusers, attended court and directed pro se litigants.
She graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law in May 2018. While there, she earned a certificate in Health Care Law, earned a place on the Dean’s List, and received the CALI Award for Highest Grade in Sales. As a law student, Lauren was Senior Editor of the Annals of Health Law Journal and was involved with the Health Justice Project.
Lauren grew up outside of Indianapolis, IN, and graduated from Zionsville High School. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University in 2015.
Legal and medical work are both part of Lauren’s family background: her father is a doctor and her mother and brother are lawyers. Given that background, Lauren pursued a career in health-related legal matters because she enjoys advocating for people who have been wrongly injured and hopes to bring justice to her clients.
