Kyle focuses his practice on a range of commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court, with an emphasis on the commodities and derivatives industries as well as blockchain, prediction markets, contract disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, partnership disputes, employment litigation, and consumer class action defense. He also counsels proprietary trading firms, investment advisors, venture investors, and banks regarding regulatory and compliance matters. He is also regularly involved in defending members and member firms before CFTC, NFA, SEC and FINRA.
In addition to his courtroom advocacy, Kyle helps clients anticipate and prevent problems from becoming major disputes. He is dedicated to understanding his clients’ businesses in order to provide practical, cost-efficient strategies for identifying and pursuing their goals.
In addition, Kyle volunteers his time representing pro se litigants through the Northern District of Illinois and pro bono clients in all areas of the arts through Lawyers for the Creative Arts. Kyle also serves as the pro bono co-coordinator of Greenberg Traurig’s Chicago office.
