Ms. Egan will engage, accept a deposit and then expeditiously ignore your e-mails and phone calls until you are forced to wonder if she is no longer working on your case. Requests for responses and unreturned phone calls went into double digits. Excuses for non-responsiveness included, but were not limited to: "My daughter is going to college." "My wifi is down." "My computer is not logging in." She will forget the details of your case (although having limited response to them in writing) and then say that she was not adequately informed. She will interview your debtors at length and (without speaking to you) assume that information they've claimed is true. It appears Ms. Egan missed the part in law school where the attorney is hired to defend their client. Her lack of professionalism and incompetence should be filed with the state. So, save yourself the disgrace to the practice of law or business, in general, and seek alternate counsel.
