Jeff Henderson is a regulatory and enforcement attorney who brings in-house perspective from his service as general counsel of a publicly traded futures commission merchant. That experience informs every aspect of his work, which spans complex compliance, regulatory, investigations, litigation, and managed fund matters across the full spectrum of financial markets - including futures, derivatives, swaps, forex, securities, cryptocurrency, binary options, and prediction markets.

Jeff represents and advises a broad range of market participants, including futures commission merchants, broker-dealers, investment advisers, commodity trading advisers, introducing brokers, forex trading firms, commodity pool operators, and hedge fund managers. He also counsels traditional proprietary trading firms and exempt investment managers on disclosure obligations, compliance programs, and regulatory and enforcement matters. He has developed a focused niche advising funded-trader proprietary trading firms on structuring and regulatory considerations in an area of increasing regulatory scrutiny.

Jeff regularly represents firms and individuals in matters before the CFTC, NFA, SEC, and FINRA, including investigations and enforcement proceedings. His experience also includes matters involving designated contract markets (DCMs) and derivatives clearing organizations (DCOs). He has deep experience in prediction markets and event contracts, a rapidly evolving segment of the financial markets. He currently serves as a public director and member of the Regulatory Oversight Committee of a U.S.-based DCM and DCO active in the prediction markets space.
