About Drew Elesh, Esq.

Attorney Drew Elesh has practiced law since 1996, bringing decades of experience to immigration matters. In the late 1990s, he gained hands-on experience in Illinois courts working across criminal law, immigration cases, and family law, which helped shape a practical and detail-oriented approach. Since 2000, his work has centered on immigration, representing employers and employees in work-related immigration filings and guiding individuals and families through permanent residence and citizenship. Mr. Elesh also takes pride in mentoring newer legal professionals and keeping his knowledge current through active membership in the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), tracking updates that impact EOIR proceedings and USCIS petitions. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law and pursued studies at Northwestern University and the University of Michigan, where his interest in international politics and culture supported his immigration-focused career. He meets clients at his Skokie office or by Zoom/Skype, offers modern billing options, and enjoys annual trips to Japan with time set aside for family and his black Labrador, Koko.
