Gregory J. Lamorena is an experienced personal injury attorney with Morgan & Morgan’s Illinois office. He has spent his career advocating for victims of personal injury and wrongful death cases. Illinois Super Lawyers, has recognized Greg as a Rising Star every year since 2019, an award given to no more than 2.5% of each state.
With a passion for justice and over a decade of personal injury experience, Greg has successfully represented individuals in a wide range of personal injury cases, including car accidents, slip and falls, nursing home abuse, and wrongful death. Greg has recovered millions of dollars for his clients and obtained the largest nursing home verdict in Chicago.
Greg earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois before receiving his law degree from Loyola University Chicago School of Law. After graduating from Loyola, Greg was asked to return as an Adjunct Professor in Trial Advocacy where he coached the Criminal Mock Trial Team.
Greg currently serves on the board of directors for Lawyers Lend-A-Hand to the Youth, an organization that channels the legal community’s resources to promote mentoring and tutoring programs in disadvantaged Chicago communities. Greg is the past president of the Filipino American Lawyers Association (FALA) of Chicago as well as the Central Regional Governor for the National Filipino Lawyers Association (NFALA). In 2022, Greg served a two year term on the board of directors for the Asian American Bar Association of Greater Chicago (AABA Chicago) focusing on the Judicial Evaluation Committee.
Whether through representing clients at trial or negotiating settlements, Greg will tirelessly fight for his clients and make sure justice is served.
