I started to rent out my condo last year. Then I got a bad renter who didn’t pay rents. I used David Smolin to file an eviction case. I am writing this review to let people know, don’t waste your money to use David Smolin! It’s not about if the result of my case was favorable or not, it’s his negligence and malpractice that’s outrageous! He is one of those lawyers who only care about collecting money from clients but not work for the best interest of the clients. As an attorney for an eviction case, he didn’t have the knowledge how to serve a correct 5 Day or 10 Day notice. He even didn’t have the knowledge how the summon was considered served. He didn’t know the key facts of my case. Apparently he didn’t put any time or effort to prepare for my case. Due to his negligence and multiple other negligent acts, my court date was rescheduled several times and and hence several months were wasted before my case was finally dismissed. Stay away from David Smolin and his firm!
