Starshak and other lawyers at Horwitz and Horwitz represented me during a personal injury case. My experience with this firm was a nightmare. One of many instances was the issue of Opposing Counsel alleging that Starshak and crew failed to notify him of the current address of a out of town witness that was on the bus and that Starshak and crew failed to tell Opposing Counsel what the witness would testify to and the current address of the witness. The witness was barred from testifying at trial. This was the only witness on the bus Starshak scheduled for a deposition and trial even though there were other flight attendants, executives and a ground transportation employee on the bus that backed up my position of how the accident happened. The airport policeman that wrote the police report was not deposed. The witnesses on the bus told my Supervisor what their injuries were which HE wrote in his incident report. There were a series of issues that led to 3 days of sanctions vs. trial.
