Jacalyn Birnbaum is a dedicated and passionate advocate for children and their welfare and family issues that arise in the middle of a divorce. Her insights are what I consider unique to what I know of traditional attorneys. Her motivation is to preserve the fabric of the family in the middle of crisis while still dealing with the reality of divorce. She has brought hope to an otherwise seemingly hopeless situation. Working through family issues in her office has been life changing. She has offered insights that have completely changed how we interact ~ . The family unit may change but our family has been preserved.

Mr. Arnoux is very knowledge and persistent. He is kind and fair and thorough. He understands his field well and is able to do what needs to get done quickly, efficiently, and fairly. I have recommended him several times already, and all my referrals have commented on his excellent professionalism and demeanor.

Other than when it came to billing, I don't think Matt Arnoux knew what he was doing. He got bested and I paid the price.

Gentleman, if your wife's attorney recommends Jacalyn Birnbaum to represent your children in your divorce proceedings, do WHATEVER you can to avoid her. She is COMPLETELY biased against men and when that was clear and I mentioned to her that her decisions regarding your children have absolutely no bearing in fact and effect people's lives, she simply shrugged. She spoke AT LENGTH with my now ex-wife and listened very intently to her ramblings. After that, when she bothered to give me even the time of day to explain my position on things, it was almost immediately clear that she had already formed her opinion. She is one miserable human being who has no business being in the position she is. She is an embarrassment to her profession. Shame on her for acting in the manner she does! It's incredibly hurtful and mean-spirited and she is apparently oblivious to her behavior. In any case, STAY AS FAR AWAY from Jacalyn Birnbaum as possible. She is just awful.

Avoid Gelfman at all costs. He is biased and unfair in his judgements.He will threaten you and follow through on those threats. It is obvious that he is doing the work only for the money. He does not follow through, return phone calls, emails, or texts . You will have no voice with him. He puts in the very least amount of effort to finish a case.

Cares not at all about the children (GAL) or about the parents or family unit. Only cares about padding her wallet. Her demeanor is deplorable and her obvious bias toward women is astonishing. She is as unobjective as a person can be, and she only hides it in front of the judge. Only her man-hating personal opinion matters, not what numerous other court-ordered professionals have to say. My kids are significantly worse off because of Jacalyn Birnbaum. Don't let her do to your family what she did to mine. STAY AWAY.

Man hating angry old woman who is self obsessed about her work representing RBG's daughter and the signed letter she received. Obvious bias towards men and any person who does not agree with her political affiliations. Only looking for an easy paycheck at the cost of destroying relationships with parents and children.

Arnoux is true human filth. Despicable practices and difficult to work with. He is a kidnapper and extortionist. Perfect for Chicago corporate culture. There is a special place in rich people purgatory for people who employ him.

Working with this person was absolutely horror. As the first review said. That is what he did. If I could say bad things I would, but as a person of God I’ll refrain. Stuart is one of those people you have to stay away from. Now I’m not only going to say this as my review from a personal experience but, I was crazy enough to go meet the people and persons Stuart had dealt with. Not good, no person or people had anything positive to say. Truly a disappointment.

The best way to describe her is Shakespeare's character of ''Shylock'' in The Merchant of Venice. In 2024, I hired her for a DCFS hearing before an administrative judge and after collecting my hard earned money, she changed completely! As an Attorney she was supposed to carry out interviews prior to the hearing to help give my case a chance, but she didn't. During the hearing I was the one that brought one person to support me.
