You would be a fool to hire any attorney but Mr.Mcvay in the Cheyenne area. He is extremely attentive to his practice and will drop what he is doing in order to help you. He always returns your calls promptly and attentively.

When I first started looking for an attorney, I literally called every attorney available. Talked with many but Mr. McVay with Olsen Legal Group and his team were the only ones willing to take on the case in family court. My last hearing Mr. McVay was very strategic in his planning and kept re-assuring me even though I felt very uneasy about this whole case. At the last minute, 5 minutes to court, we changed the whole plan of action and Mr. McVay won this part of our case within 5 minutes of the proceeding. I can not recommend him enough.

Working with Benjamin Sherman was amazing. He helped me through what has arguably been the worst time in my life with prejudices of the legal system stacked against me. He is very compassionate and made sure my child was best taken care of. He is knowledgeable and will take the time to explain your situation and options.

I feel I was not well represented. Several mistakes in my case that I got charged for. Felt like I was lost in the system. My lawyer (JC) said it would cost about $1500 and take 90 days. They have so many cases it took over six months and several thousands of dollars. So if you want to waste your money and not be well represented this is the place to go. At one point my lawyer said; you got what you wanted just take it. He did not want to fight for me. He also mention my two girls which I don’t have. So I took a loss of hundreds of dollars a month, just so I would not have to go back to court with this firm. They will promise you the world and do not deliver. The case went on forever and it ended up costing way more than the initial estimate. Funny when the Olsen group gets a bad review, they post something like this .......Olsen Legal Group has no client history with this individual. I feel that you would be better served going elsewhere. The choice is yours to make.

If I could give this firm negative stars, I would. A Wyoming legislator, Jared Olsen, owns this practice it is honestly the worst legal practice in town. I was extremely disappointed with my experience with this firm and have taken my case elsewhere. My experience here was horrible unfortunately. I STRONGLY advise you to look elsewhere for better representation. They will try to get you with a free consultation and then take every cent from you they can once you hire them. They are dishonest and will just take your money. Ms. Godwin gave me conflicting information and was dishonest. They overcharge you with vague charges and take way longer than they say they will.

I hired Olsen Legal group for my divorce. Mathew is the attorney they assigned to me. We go to trial in January and get everything to the judge at the end of December. He doesn't call when he says he will, he doesn't respond to emails at all. Originally he sounded great, like he knew what he was talking about and was really going to fight for me and as soon as he talked to the mediator he sat down like a whipped dog and expected me to start paying money to my ex to keep anything I wanted. I've been doing research for similar cases so we can fight back and he just ignores my emails. The last one I received was him telling me about his sick 5 year old. I'm fighting to keep my home and he's fine with it being sold. When I hired him he talked about hiring experts and then a couple of weeks ago he told me it was too late. That it was too late when I hired him. Why didn't he say that when I hired him? Is it really too late? WAS it really too late or did he drop the ball??

This firm, and more specifically, Ben Sherman, has been a nightmare for me. I hired them because they claim to specialize in fathers' rights and parental alienation but they have done nothing for me. I’ve used Ben Sherman and he doesn’t return emails and calls, and he fails to file responses to my ex-wife’s filings allowing her to get multiple default judgments against me. He promised multiple times to file court papers but then never does it. I complained to the office manager and sent an email to Jared Olson (The firms founding partner) but never received a response. I was told I would have a call with my attorney and Mr. Olson but Olson never joined the call. I’ve talked to the bar and have a legitimate complaint, which I have been trying to hold off filing until now. They’ve billed me $20k for what should have cost no more than $10k and they refuse to send me a detailed bill.
