From the first phone call he would not respect me as a client. He’s not organized, he couldn’t show me my discovery and when he got to court first time with me took me in the side room to discuss my case and called me a B****. I wouldn’t hire him if he was last attorney on earth
From the first call I knew I was screwed he tried his best to explain the case but he was definitely suffering from dementia. He acted like the case would be dismissed but that was far from the truth. 2 days later "the day prior to trial" he called me to tell me that the commonwealth attorney wanted to present a plea deal that was absolutely nuts! For a simple misdemeanor and with not criminal record. He was forcefully pushing a plea deal on me that involved jail time not to mention I was completely innocent and being that he was my defense lawyer he should have had my best interests but this was not the case at all. He told me I could do weekends anytime I wish and it was no big deal. After I told him no I would not take the plea deal and if he could not represent me as a defense lawyer should then I would find another one and I wanted my case postponed. He said I could not fire him or postpone the case and that I had no choice but to take the plea deal.
