Sexist jerk who could have cared less about me as a client. Never spoke with me, never met with me. I wanted to be able to drive to animal shelter where I volunteered on weekends and he ignored me and never mentioned. Thankfully the lady who took my money got the judge to grant it. After I lost my license for a year my friend who recommended Denis called and asked me to please not be mad at him because he didn't remember that he was a sexist jerk when he recommended Denis to represent me. Made total sense why he acted the way that he did once my friend told me that!
very untrustworthy, does not support client needs. accusing clients and acts as if hes on opposing counsel. Very unprofessional. argues with you if you have any questions or concerns. does not listen to his clients needs/wants. does not visit client. very rude individual. would never recommend, my husbands freedom and our lives were/are placed on hold, because of his ineffective counsel
I hired Englisby to represent me in a contested custody case. He advised me to stop paying the mortgage on my house where I was living with the children since it was in husband's name. When it went to court, Englisby's friend, Jennifer Newman, the GAL, stated, this woman is financially irresponsible and is not even paying the mortgage on the house where she is living with the children. They gave sole legal and physical custody to my husband. Horrible man.I fired him. He then sued me.
Withheld agreed paperwork; broke client/attorney confidentiality; did not notify me of court date until the day after the court date. met with other party and her attorney without letting me know before or after the meeting (found out only from my children). As a result, had to fire him. His practice cost me over $100,000 in excessive settlement of what was agreed. This case would make a nice college course for law students. I know I should have sued him for malpractice.
