Matthew Wooten and the entire firm were incredible throughout my contested divorce. Matt took over after 18 months of no progress with a previous attorney, and he moved my case forward quickly. I was divorced within 11 months, with delays only caused by my ex-husband. Matt truly cared about me as a person. He listened, understood what I was going through, and made me feel supported every step of the way. The whole firm was friendly and helpful, and my paralegal, Lacy, was always available to talk and answer questions. I’m very grateful for Matt and the team. They were professional, compassionate, and effective. Highly recommend.

Best lawyers in Virginia. Compassionate is an understatement. They provide both legal expertise but also more compassion and empathy than you would experience anywhere else. Plumlee and Wooten are both excellent and there aren't enough words to describe the experience you will have if you hire this firm.

Hired Attorney C. Eric Plumlee

Mr. Plumlee recently represented myself in court on a protective order case. He definitely demonstrated his compassion and dedication while working with me on this case. Mr. Plumlee went above an beyond and stayed in court with me longer than expected until we reached the most desirable outcome for myself. Seeing Eric Plumlee in action in the Court Room is a site to be seen! I hired Eric on Monday May 24,2021 and met with him on Tuesday May 25th at 10:00am regarding a child custody matter. I left his office and headed back to my office and grabbed some lunch on the way. By the time I arrived at my office I had received an e-mail containing the request for motion of an emergency hearing that had been hand delivered to the court. Eric got the hearing scheduled for the following Tuesday June 1st, 2021 at 3:00. Again seeing Eric in action in the Court Room is truly as site to be seen. He was prepared, he had previous case law in hand including Constitutional rights and presented it in very Proffesional way. He is a very knowledgeable, compassionate, aggressive when needed but with tact and class! He won my case and I had my daughter back in her home the next day! I cannot say enough in this review to truly do justice the Eric Plumlee’s abilities! If you to win hire him!

Over the span of several months, I faced several battles while divorcing my Husband. It was an extremely painful time and while I was struggling to get on my feet, I was faced with what felt like endless court cases and accusations and realized I needed help quickly. I faced 4 different charges, 1 traffic and 3 criminal. In a nervous and uncertain mindset about my future, I reached out to Mr. Plumlee on short notice after being incarcerated over the weekend. There was no delay in his responsiveness, which I graciously appreciated. He was eager help and showed genuine concern for my well being. His knowledge of law along with his charismatic demeanor put me at ease about the mess I had gotten into. I had never been to jail or faced any charges in the past, so naturally I was unfamiliar with everything, but after a long discussion I knew I could trust him and felt confident that he was going to strive for the best possible outcome while still educating me about the bad ones also. Over 6 months we made 2 court appearances, and each time he and his firm put together a solid case with multiple contingencies. His due diligence paid off and he revealed to know more about the statutes than the arresting officer and got my charges rightfully dismissed.
