Hired Attorney Hugh E. (Teddy) Black III

I retained Mr. Black to defend me in criminal court. My first bond was denied. I asked Mr. Black for an appeal bond which he said was no problem. I waited over a month. Fired Mr. Black and my new attorney said Mr. Black had never even filed the paperwork (mind you my friend called weekly to find out what was going on. The excuse given was he could not get in touch with the prosecution. Once fired he magically found her offering me a plea. Out of $5,000 he kept $1500 for himself. He's a liar!!!!

Hired Attorney Hugh E. (Teddy) Black III

Mr.Black ( I wont use an address that salutes him other than a mister- and that is a loose term) has not responded at all to a case that has been 2 months in the making an court is tomorrow. This is very unfortunate because he was retained by reference. If you want to feel alone in your case and out of money- hire him.

Hired Attorney Hugh E. (Teddy) Black III

Mr. Black was referred to defend on a case for a probation violation, he did nothing to the effort of fighting for the client. We had to call him just to get him to make more efforts to come and do any such visits prior to the case and he does lie!! He only does the bare minium and unless you speak up or get firm with him this is when he will show face which doesn't do much at all. Going to court twice the Commonwealth made the client look as if there was no progression , Teddy didn't agrue to any facts or speak up. I wouldn't recommend this lawyer to anyone , he doesn't care and only cares to get his money. I wish he would've been fired after the first case hearing ! He isn't a good person nor does he have any empathy at all towards his client to actually make a difference to be shown in court.I believe he's imtiadated by certain Judges and keeps a profile for himself. Even after everything was said and done he doesn't even give a call to the family or an update to the client.
