Throughout my divorce representation, my attorney repeatedly failed to correctly identify me in legal documents. My maiden name and middle name were listed incorrectly on filings and paperwork. These errors required correction and caused confusion in court records. Such basic mistakes demonstrate a lack of diligence and attention to detail in representing a client in a legal matter. ⸻ 2. Pattern of Negligence and misrepresentation In addition to the identification errors, I experienced ongoing issues with my attorney’s handling of the case. These included failure to properly review documents before filing, inadequate communication, and errors that required me to repeatedly correct information myself.
I hired him to do a motion for me 14 years ago. He told me it would cost $500 just to write it. I paid him the $500 cash and what he did I couldn’t use anyway. Now 14 years later I have a collection agency trying to get over $3000 from me. Apparently Mr Riley after I paid him cash, generated a bill and got a judgment. I was never notified about a law suit. This attorney is a scam artist. I would never recommend him and I will tell everyone I meet was a scammer he is!!!
