Not very helpful. Didn't stay on top of things. As soon as I stopped bothering him, things stopped happening. They handed me documents and I never heard from them again until they sent a bill. NEVER checked to see if the matter was resolved (it still isn't 8 months later). Only contacted me when I was late paying their bill. My suggestion is to look elsewhere.
It seems there is a theme for this lawyer. I found him to be poor at best. He either has no ability to manage an overbearing executor, or just doesn’t care about the beneficiaries of an estate. Either way, he was paid way too much to follow a clear will. He is unresponsive- requiring multiple emails and phones calls- both to the beneficiaries, and then to the lawyer we had to hire as a result. He crossed the line but knows it would cost more to take him to court than what is still owed to a beneficiary. He cannot manage difficult families when the executor is power hungry.
