My mother passed away July 19th, 2023. Years before, she set up her will, probate, etc. with this law firm in Cherokee. After she passed, we were told that she had a small estate so there was no need to read the will with the beneficiaries present. When we would call for an update he never knew what was going on and would have excuses, like hip surgery or it was "tax time" and he didn't have time for my mother's case until after tax time. Well, she did have a small estate, but she was very proud of her "small estate" and she worked hard all of her life for that "small estate". He returned calls when he felt like it, which was worthless because he never knew anything. He closed the case before the checks were distributed to the beneficiaries (unethical) and when we called to ask one final question he said that the case was closed so he could not "charge anymore", basically telling us to "get lost" $7,000.00 later. He made our grief worse, as if it wasn't hard enough already.
They are shady Shiesty and they won’t fix anything for you please if you want you and your families belongings to be safe and secured do not come to these people. My grandpa was On his deathbed and they change the will so that It did not honor my grandpa’s wishes.
They let my step grandma and her children change my grandpas will a month before he passed away. There is a family farm that has been I. Our family for 100 years and they are stealing everything because of these guys!!! They are not good people and have no morals or ethics! DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!
We have used Miller Miller Miller Law Firm for our mother's probate administration. Never use them. They have consistently under served our family as an advocate, advisor and evaluator on our family probate case. They have cost us $74,000 in additional legal fees to undo mistakes to the IRS and caused large amounts of stress in our family due to the time it has taken to finish this job, and it is not finished. We are on year 6 and it is still unresolved.
They have been unethical and incompetent. They have cost the family thousands of dollars hiring another lawyer to undo their mistakes resulting in getting thousands back from the IRS. If circumstances were different, the family farm would have been lost. It sickens me to think they've done this to other families with no ability for recourse. It's been close to 6 years and they still don't understand urgency.
