Robert Sanfilippo joined the firm in March of 2017. He focuses his work on all aspects of personal injury, with extensive experience in matters related to medical malpractice and products liability litigation.
Rob is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and Syracuse University College of Law. During law school, he clerked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in the Organized Crime and Terrorism Division. He was also elected as an Executive Editor for the Syracuse Science and Technology Law Journal.
After graduating law school, Rob served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Essex County Superior Court, Law Division, Civil Part, to the Honorable Alfonse J. Cifelli, J.S.C. Prior to joining Blume Forte, Rob worked for a mid-size firm in central New Jersey, where he litigated medical malpractice and complex personal injury cases.
Every year since 2012, Rob has been recognized by his peers as a Rising Star in the fields of Medical Malpractice and Personal Injury Law in New Jersey by Super Lawyers. The Rising Stars list is developed using Super Lawyers’ patented multiphase selection process of independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations, except candidates must be either 40 years old or younger or in practice for 10 years or less.
He has published articles in ALM’s Medical Malpractice Law and Strategy, and has twice written briefs to the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
