About Kelly Gurley Roberts

Albemarle County native, Kelly Roberts, joined the firm in 2015. She spent the first eight years of her practice in the Hampton Roads, Virginia area practicing civil litigation, with an emphasis in family law.In times of chaos, Ms. Roberts' sympathetic ear has brought comfort to many clients. After graduation from Mary Baldwin College in 2003 with her Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Ms. Roberts attended Regent University School of Law in Virginia Beach, receiving her Juris Doctor (J.D.) in 2006. Ms. Roberts was admitted to practice in 2007 to the Virginia State Bar, and is admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia and U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. Ms. Roberts had the honor of serving as Staff Attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Eastern Virginia's Tidewater Office from 2008 until 2014, when she moved back to Albemarle County with her Husband and son.

Hired Attorney Kelly Gurley Roberts

Many thanks to Kelly Roberts from bottom of my heart, who fought hard in the court room and SECURED my child's life during a painful ,tearful time. I worked with Ms Roberts for almost 2 years. Ms Roberts educated me about the legal process, was very professional, flexible with timings and payment plans. She is very personable, listens to your every word and feels your pain and for the child. She presents evidence and builds your case step by step in the court room. Ms Roberts was able to show the court who was the better parent and what really is in the best interests of the child. I highly recommend this firm and Ms Roberts.
