Michael L. Littlejohn Jr. founded Littlejohn Law, PLLC in 1996 as a law firm dedicated to employment law and civil rights matters in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he serves clients throughout almost every county in the state.
He has been admitted to practice in North Carolina and before the United States District Court for both the Western and Eastern Districts of North Carolina. Mr. Littlejohn is also admitted to practice in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He obtained his legal education at Charlotte School of Law and earned his Juris Doctor in 2015. Before his law studies, Mr. Littlejohn served as a member of the University of Mary Washington men's basketball team.
A significant portion of Mr. Littlejohn's practice consists of representing victims of discrimination in the workplace or in the hiring process. Mr. Littlejohn has extensive experience litigating discrimination cases and has a proven track record of success. He is also well-versed in other areas of labor law, including wrongful termination, workplace harassment, and sexual assault. He is passionate about advocating for workers and committed to helping them obtain justice. As an employee advocate, Mr. Littlejohn has prepared and reviewed employment and severance agreements.
As part of Mr. Littlejohn's civil rights practice, he handles excessive force, wrongful death, false arrests, wrongful convictions, and malicious prosecution cases involving law enforcement.
