Mark D. Gott began his legal career as an Assistant Clerk for the Mecklenburg County Superior Court, where he presided over a variety of matters, including incompetency proceedings, foreclosures, default judgments, name changes, adoptions, and probate cases. With a focus on elder abuse and guardianship cases, Mark brings extensive knowledge and enthusiasm to his practice. He also handles a range of foreclosure cases, from residential mortgage and tax foreclosures to large commercial foreclosures, drawing on his experience in both the clerk’s office and private practice. Mark is an active member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, where he teaches continuing education courses for attorneys and educates the public on legal issues. Known for his professionalism and personable approach, Mark prioritizes transparency, clearly outlining costs at the outset of each case. His dedication to communication and client satisfaction has resulted in over two decades without any fee disputes. Outside of work, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
