At Lutzel, Broadway & Associates, we focus our practice to four specific areas of the law: Real Estate, Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts), Business Law and Asset Protection. By concentrating our practice to just four disciplines, we are able to provide the highest level of knowledge, service and counsel to our clients.

The attorneys at Lutzel, Broadway have more than sixty years of combined experience in practicing law. Our attorneys are licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, New York and Washington, D.C. We have offices in Lake Norman (Mooresville) and Charlotte (Ballantyne) to better serve our clients.

Service to our clients is paramount to everything else that we do. We understand that we are in a service industry and our counsel is our stock in trade. The support staff at Lutzel, Broadway value our clients as if they were family. Since we are not a mega-firm with monthly billable quotas to meet, we can take the time that is truly needed to provide the service you deserve.

Mike Kastner 3 reviews a minute agoNEW-Edit As a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina, I have dealt with many law offices and have had numerous interactions with different lawyers and firms. In my 32 years of experience, I have never had a more negative experience with any other law firm (and there have been a few challenging ones over the years). I was the listing agent so did not choose this law firm as that was the choice of the buyer and his agent. The real estate deal went under contract in August 2021 and terminated in September. As of this writing, I have yet to have a single return phone call from any lawyer with this firm regarding the status of the earnest money deposit owed to my client. I have documented many calls only to have the receptionist say they would get back with me. I finally had to file a formal complaint with the NC Bar to see if they can have someone from this law firm return my call. The ONLY reason I gave them one star as I could not give 0.

The Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings process is the gold standard due to its objectivity and comprehensiveness. Lawyers solicited for peer reviews include both those selected by the attorney being reviewed and lawyers independently selected by Martindale-Hubbell. All reviewers are verified as attorneys through Martindale-Hubbell’s extensive attorney database. Only attorneys practicing at least three years and receiving a sufficient number of reviews from non-affiliated attorneys are eligible to receive a Rating.

What are the different Martindale-Hubbell Peer Review Ratings?*
