After graduating with dual music and political science majors from University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire, Erika graduated from the California Western School of Law 2002 and moved to the Charlotte region to begin her practice of law. Erika has been practicing for the last 16 years with an emphasis in Real Estate, Business and Estate Planning. As a member of the Mecklenburg County Bar, she has served as the Real Estate committee and CLE chairs and has served on the Bar Leadership committee. Erika has been extremely involved with the community serving on various non-profit boards and has received a number of awards in her career and has been named Business Leaders Women Extraordinaire, Business Journal Legal Elite, NC Weekly Emerging Legal Leaders and Business Today Top Women in Business among others. Erika is excited to be joining ASCENSION LAW’s Business and Commercial Real Estate Teams.
