James Epperson and staff are well worth the money spent! I would highly recommend this firm. Ok here's my situation...I dated a psycho path who would not leave me alone. He basically charged me with fake allegations and had me arrested 3 times and charged me with 4 criminal charges. So far 3 out of the 4 criminal charges have been dropped and most likely the last one will be dropped later this month. Steve(new partner) was able to obtain a permanent restraining order and was a complete bulldog in court. Epperson Law firm has been a heaven send and has restored peace in my my life. Thanks so much!

James Epperson tried to protect my interests but in doing so wasted much time and money on several different drafts and continuances. I was even billed for an e mail that was sent to me from him after my case was closed.

Working with James was a difficult & oppositional. James is a knowledgeable & experienced attorney. However, he is NOT good at explaining nor prepared. He gave poor advice at very important junctures of case progress & wasn’t prepared at deposition, arbitration nor court. I would best describe him as a grumpy curmudgeon in personality & a poorly committed/prepared attorney. If that is who you want to have on YOUR team, go ahead. But I would NOT recommend him. We ended up losing a ROCK SOLID case & settling for no income (but of course, HE GETS PAID IN FULL). I should have been best served by another attorney whom I felt was on my team. James was NOT.

I have a seriously disabled child that the system has basically ignored, failing to provide her services, despite the fact that her doctor says she needs a full-time caretaker. Desperate for help, I contacted this office and had a consultation with the firm's namesake, who ultimately said I could hire him for five grand to try to convince a court that I am an "unfit mother." That would supposedly force social services to take my child, making them responsible for providing services for her. What kind of advice is that?! A social worker told me it was THE WORSE idea she had ever heard and that--despite the attorney's claims that things would be fine for my other children since they wouldn't be part of the case--the social worker said CPS would absolutely take them, too. So, I basically spent $250 to get nothing but bogus (even dangerous) information that would ultimately tear my family apart, per the social worker.

My Ex-Wife was held in Contempt-of-Court in 2014 for violating the visitation agreement of my 3 children. I hired James Epperson to-represent me in settling the Custody Modification. I wanted to move forward with an experienced attorney specializing in custody disputes and felt that I would get positive results. I have spent Thousands of dollars over the next 3 years for text messaging, phone calls, and a couple in person consultations. As of Jan 13, 2017 Never been in court.

Please do your research and don’t take the initial consultation as what will happen. Also look at Facebook for more reviews that shows a lot of people feel this way. I first met with Mr. Epperson and he had promised to fight for my rights as my husband abused me in all ways even keeping my son’s ashes. He was great as a hype man and convinced me I wanted to work with him. tthen was passed on to an another attorney without even meeting her. She appeared in court once and continued it as my ex verbally agreed what I could take. Since it wasn’t in writing my ex didn’t allow it. I was out of luck as my attorney didn’t write it down or file that we both agreed at the time. And it took an obnoxious amount of emails to get her to file anything, like it was pulling teeth. She originally was supposed to file the original complaint but didn’t. She would promise me it would be done in a certain day and it wasn’t. I was charged to beg her to do what she told me she would do.

You all should know the following and re-evaluate your relations with this person..do you really want to be associated with a person that does the below??? I was divorced for 12 yrs.. my x had a falling out with our two older kids 18 and 22… James Epperson convinced my x to file a 250k emotional distress suit against me…then send the Sherrif to my home to serve my 18 yr old subpeonas who was packing for her freshman yr for college… they laughed when I told them that she was on her knees cry thinking she was going to be taken away …then he sent the Sherrif to Boone Nc to try and serve my son while at college. these people are cruel inhumane and have no morals or decency.. now the x owes them So much money she is essentially their indentured slave to pay all his bills… money is their game….at all costs...even as he actively and gleefully destroys families. As a result My youngest daughter tries to kill her self over all of this and he and the X refuse to share any medical info or eve
