About Tom Bolt

Firm founder and managing attorney, Tom Bolt, focuses his practice in government relations, banking, real estate, real estate finance, and estate planning. He is a member of many national and local business and charitable organizations.

Tom chairs the Government Relations Practice Group of the Firm and is a member of the Firm's Corporate Tax and Estate Planning and Real Estate Financial Services Groups. He has written and lectured on a variety of government relations issues.

As Executive Director and Legal Counsel to the Virgin Islands Law Revision Commission, Tom was instrumental in the coordination of Commission affairs. His responsibilities included drafting, reviewing and revising laws for approval by the Commission. He also served as Editor of the "Revised Virgin Islands Criminal Code".

In his role as Counsel to the President/Counsel to the Majority Leader with the Legislature of the Virgin Islands, Tom drafted numerous legislation and memoranda. He worked to expedite disbursement of government funds, responded to constituents' correspondence, and represented the Legislature before the public.

He is a former President of the Virgin Islands Bar Association where he worked diligently to increase professionalism in the legal profession.
