Can't believe this lady is a FAMILY COURT JUDGE first she has no children she has like 30 cats she is a all around terrible person with zero compassion only reason she won because she ran unsponsed 🤣 even the cops that work in her court room area think she's crazy for all the yelling she does they've said it out of they own mouths

As all other comments state on here , the exact happened to me , she is not worthy of being a judge , she does not look at evidence , looked at the wrong paper , and begun yelling at me and would not let me tell her that was not the right paper , all around - she should have been asked to step down , she is messing with peoples family's and futures . She is an abomination for better words . VERYYYYY UNPROFESSIONAL !

I apparently got to be her last victim as a judge today. I guess we can all celebrate that. This woman doesn't know how to do anything but scream. She doesn't seem to understand how evidence is submitted to the court, nor does she care to hear it. The abuser didn't share what she was served with her lawyer...I wouldn't have either, although he coached her through lies right there and then and both he and this incompetent, biased 1 star judge/lawyer tried to pretend she didn't. I finally just shut down. She seemed to fawn over the male attorney even though a female was supposed to be the lawyer, which I can see, since every other review says she goes for the male. She wouldn't let me speak. Those of you who are being abused can at least breath a sigh of relief that you won't have to deal with this ethically immoral piece of work.

This lady will not look at evidence nor will she listen to the fears & concerns of the victims. When the abuser, his attorney, & the judge Lera Vanmeter can have conversations in the courtroom in front of the devastated victim, laughing & joking like nothing this victim went through had no value or concern is Disgraceful, disrespectful & very Unprofessional!! It’s no wonder women stop calling the police & end up deceased, they can’t count on our judicial system to protect them. Sham

Such an unpleasant experience to be in her courtroom. She yells, is impatient, jumps to conclusions with partial facts, and has to scream and degrade at least one person during hearings. Thankfully, she did not run opposed in this past election and her days of being judge are soon over.

This judge lacks empathy, she is filled with anger, she will shame you, and she is just so bitter and mean. I have no clue what her situation is and why she acts so enraged but she doesn’t need to be in the court, she doesn’t need power over anyone. She abuses her power!

Lera K. Vanmeter is unfair, biased, angry, volatile and I was stunned by her unprofessional behavior. She acts like she is suffering from a psychological disorder.She rants and raves and screams while in the courtroom. She should be disbarred.

Judge Vanmeter is very unprofessional. During my first hearing, the clerk told me the judge screams and yells, and that was an understatement. She is very demeaning to all parties involved. She does not follow the law and makes decisions based on her personal opinion. I am unsure how she was elected, until I discovered she ran unopposed.

This lady should not be a family court judge. She denied me a paternity test so now I’m living life without knowing if I have a biological daughter and if my son has a sister. She chooses whose side she is on from the moment you step into the courtroom and seems to get off on destroying families.
