Jordan K. Herrick is originally from New Martinsville, West Virginia. He attended college at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio, where he graduated cum laude and earned a Bachelor’s of Arts in Political Science. Jordan was an active member of Delta Tau Delta International Fraternity while at Marietta College. Jordan earned his J.D. from West Virginia University in 2009.
Jordan is admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of West Virginia, and, the United States Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Jordan practices in a number of different areas, but the focus of his practice is in general civil litigation, automobile liability defense, commercial liability defense, State and local Government liability defense, insurance bad faith litigation and civil rights law. Jordan also assists in representing the Kanawha County Parks & Recreation Commission.
Jordan is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia. Jordan has presented a CLE on the West Virginia Open Governmental Proceedings Act.
Jordan taught Constitutional Law at George Washington High School in Charleston, West Virginia for the 2014-2015 school year. He was also listed as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2016 and 2017.
