My experience with her 7+ years ago is VERY similar to these other 2 bad reviews and must be held accountable. Not recommended. I only feel safe sharing now that my daughter is 18. I didn’t want to risk dealing with her unjust bias and over stepping her bounds again. I had to threaten her to do the same actions to the other side or I would bring up her bias in court. Glad she did. Money focused. Friends with the judges. Generally biased against dads. We had 2 previous GAL’s better than her.
Working with Mrs Groff, was an absolute nightmare. Mrs Groff does not care about the kids or their best interest. What ever lawyer is lining her pockets that’s how she decides her cases. If you care about your kids stay away from Mrs Groff and her staff. They just take money do nothing and misinterpret what people say. I had a terrible experience and nothing but lies in her reports. My children and I suffered tremendously because of her incompetence and poor judgment.
She is very biased and rude. She is not in it because she cares about the well being of your children. All this woman cares about is money she will charge you outrageous fees for simple things like a phone call. And she also makes up other hidden fees to get even more money out of you.
Biased, corrupt, and only cares about Money! She never cared about the children involved! When I questioned her about her unethical billing she refused to fix it and hung up on me! The when I wrote a formal letter asking her to adjust her billing, she wrote back threatening me with being in contempt of a court order if I don’t pay her! She never once did what was right and it ultimately lead to my child being further abused!
She has no business being a gardian when she doesn’t have the first clue about kids or being a mother. Her office staff and herself are a complete mess. Her office 8 months into our court case is calling an incorrect phone number, then proceeds to say that we are refusing to comply. 90% of all discussions in the court room were about her bills, about her, All about her bills and getting paid..NOT what is best for the child...stay clear. Think she has a hatred for men.
