About Caroline McIntosh

Caroline is an associate attorney focusing state and federal workers' compensation cases, including concurrent jurisdiction claims arising under the South Carolina workers' compensation Act and the Longshore and Harbor workers' compensation Act as well as construction litigation and appelate advocacy. She graduated cum laude from the University of the South (Sewanee) in 1999 with a B.S. degree in Forestry, and received her J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law in 2006. While attending law school, Caroline clerked for the South Carolina House of Representatives Judiciary Committee, and served on the editorial board of the ABA Real Property, Probate and Trust Journal from 2004-2006. Prior to entering private practice, Caroline served as a law clerk to The Honorable Jean Hoefer Toal, Chief Justice of the South Carolina Supreme Court. Caroline is currently active on behalf of the firm in the South Carolina Self-Insurers Association and has spoken at regional seminars on the topic of legal ethics
