Sempowich v. Tactile Systems Technology, Inc:

Tracy Sempowich, a former employee of Tactile Systems Technology, made claims against her former employer of discrimination
retaliation, as well as claims under the Equal Pay Act. She was represented by Kathryn Abernethy of The Noble Law. The Fourth Circuit found that the District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina had erred in dismissing Sempowich’s claims of discrimination
    retaliation,
also applied an incorrect legal st
ard to Sempowich’s claims under the Equal Pay Act. The matter was rem
ed for further proceedings consistent with that opinion.
